Me, Myself and I part 2

So here is another Me, Myself and I post. More things you didn't know about me!

1) What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
Open a lunch room where I can make and sell my healthy sandwiches with unprocessed ingredients, tasty smoothies, tea, coffee, maybe also cake or something..... And I would also make this a working/learning place for people who are mentally challenged or need special guidance.

2) If you had only six months left to live, what would you do with the time?
Pfff there are loads of thinks I would love to do; go shopping on Rodeo Drive and spend all my money, be in a movie, go on a date with Hugh Jackman, go surfing in California... but numero uno would probably be travel to all the places in the world that I hadn't been to before:

Australia
New Zealand
Malaysia
Japan
French Polynesia
Canada
Madagascar
Egypte
India

And maybe even Iceland to watch the northern lights

3) If a front page news article was written on you, what would the headline be?

"29 year old girl from Tilburg, The Netherlands avoids disaster by cracking joke."

4) What is your biggest pet peeve?
Ok so don't hate me for what I am about to say: mothers who feel the need to go shopping with there child in a stroller in the H&M...... and the worst part is when they push the stroller against my ankles/legs when they want to pass!!! Obviously I don't have kids, but it is just rude to push your stroller against my ankles when you want to pass... what happened to ask if you can pass when I am in your way? I don't even understand why you need to go shopping with a stroller...

Anyway, I know for sure that none of my lovely readers are like that..... right?!

Funny Sympathy Ecard: Sorry you had a stressful day of shopping.

5) What is your favorite chick flick movie?
This is easy! The Moulin Rouge!!!! Oh no Pride and Prejudice! Or both.... hmmmm this is a difficult one.... can't decide..... HELP!

Partly cloudy

So this week I have Wednesday/Thursday and Friday off!!! I really needed a few days off because it is a long haul till my summer holiday. But after this week only 3 weeks left!!!!

So today the sun was shinning, the temperature was great so I decided to go out for a nice relaxing bike ride. Since I have a lot of non-Dutch followers I decided to take a lot of pictures during the ride so you can all get an impression of how it looks where I live. Well I don't live where the pics were taken, but I live just a bike ride away!

I also had a new biking experience.... taking a picture of myself while riding my bike! Never done that before, pfff can you image I ride a bike ever since I can image but never took a picture while riding my bike! Safety first I guess....

Ok so here we go! If you have any questions or remarks just post a comment, I would love to hear what you think if the Land of the Dutch!

So that was my day today! Hope you enjoyed the pics!

Kiwi-Express

Ok so I was eating a Kiwi at work and all of a sudden I thought about my first Kiwi experience! Just to be clear, when I talk about a kiwi I talk about the fruit and not the cute little hairy bird or the people from New Zealand....

I can't remember how old I was but I was little to say the least. It was at my grandparents in Maastricht. I always loved going there because my granddad would always open the door and tell us how much we had grown! But we all believed that our granddad was in fact shrinking, we never told him though ;) My grandma would aways spoil us with candy and cookies! And we ate as much as we could! My granddad also had this amazing collection of books and stamps! Most book were informational books about countries such as Africa and the history of Egypt, animals, and weird things such as the monster of Loch Ness and vampires! Me and my brothers would go through all these books and look at the pictures and wondered if all this was real and really existed? My grandma also had this amazing collection of jewelry (now that I think of it, I was young and easily impressed, you know that feeling that when you were young things had a different perspective? Everything seemed big and impressive...). I would go through all the necklaces and put them on, as many as I could wear! But back to the kiwi, there was this very large fruit platter. Filled with all kinds of fruit such as apples, banana's and pears. And on it was also this weir looking hairy brown thing. But it looked soft due to the little hairs, for some reason I thought it was some kind of apple (again I was young and didn't know too much back then) ... So I took the little apple like thing in my hand and took a bite.... big mistake!!! It was disgusting and wasn't soft at all!!! Also the hairs made my thong itchy.

Of course everybody laughed because apparently I first had to remove the skin or slice it in half and eat the green stuff out with a spoon... How was I to know?! Nobody told me..... Ah well, I didn't get traumatized because I still like kiwi's... without the skin of course!
